One of the challenges for most Christians is making sure no one finds out much they struggle with sin.
Heavenly Father, look not this day upon my failed works but to the finished and perfect work of your Son. For the sake of His suffering and death and because of his resurrection from the dead, forgive my sins. By the gifts of your Spirit, through Word and Sacrament, grant me a clear conscience. Give me faith to trust and courage to believe that great is your love for me and that come what may, nothing in this day, will be able to separate me from your love that is in Christ Jesus, my Lord
