I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior. I believe that Jesus died for my sins, and rose again, and that's my belief. I still don't know what 'Christian' means. I'm a follower of Christ, but I keep making a whole bunch of mistakes. And I thank God for forgiveness.

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God;
It was never between you and them anyway.

We all make sacrifices by doing the best that we can in the time that we have for better or for worse, for self-interest or for those we love and that's what makes us human.

Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. Philippians 2:2

As Christians, we are the body of Christ.  Disagreements will occur among each other.  We have been called to love one another more than ourselves.  It gets especially difficult when toes are stepped on and territories are jeopardized.   When conflict happens put a lot of effort in working together to achieve His purpose.  If we can't love someone who shares our same beliefs how could we show love to those who believe differently?

 Has someone done something thoughtful for you lately?  Have they gone out of their way for you?  It's easy to keep moving on or get busy and forget about recognizing them.  However, it's important to express to them your grateful heart.  Put a little thought into how you want to express your gratitude through friendship.

Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone - especially to those in the family of faith. Galatians 6:10

Who wants to be taken advantage of?  No one.  However, we are called to do good to everyone and not be selective in who we serve.  Do you let fear of exploitation of your generosity keep you from sharing with others?  It's a good thing Jesus didn't have this fear when He chose to die on the cross for sins He knew we would commit again and again

The truth is that stress doesn't come from your boss,your kids,your spouse ,traffic jams ,health challenges ..or other circumstances.It comes from YOUR THOUGHTS about these circumstances .

When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.  Romans 1:12 

Each one of us walk different roads in our faith with God.  While it takes a lot of courage to open up our wounds, it's also good to share stories of faith with friends.  Each person walks away reminded of the blessings from God in their own lives as well as encouraged to see the work of God in others' lives.  Do you have other believers you can share in your journey with?
