What seems to us as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise.

 

Romans 12:12

Rejoice in hope, patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. 

Cutting people out of my life doesn't mean I hate them. it means I respect myself.


Philippians 2:3
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,

I didn't change. I just see things differently now.

Acts 20:24
But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

If you are going to rise you might as well shine

I have endured, I have been broken, I have known hardship, I have lost myself. But here I stand, still moving forward, growing stronger each day.


1 Peter 5:8-9
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.

The road I have traveled has not always been an easy one and the path was often full of stones, but I am still here. I know that the only reason I was able to make it this far, the only reason I am still here today, is the fact that God was walking the road with me every step of the way.

Be Strong but not rude, Be Kind but not weak, Be Bold but don't bully, Be humble but not shy, Be confident but not arrogant.

Two principles for a happy life.
1. Use things not people.
2. Love People not things.

Pay Attention to the people that care. who are always there. who want better for you. they're your people.

The greatest thing in this world is not so much where you stand, as to what direction you are moving,

Your smile is your logo, your personally is your business card, how you leave others feeling after an experience with you becomes your trademark.

Never believe that you are above or below anyone. Keep a humble sprit.


Luke 14:11
For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

“There is little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative.”

Sometimes you have to accept the truth and stop wasting time on the wrong people.


Luke 17:3
"Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.

Be the same person privately, publicly and personally.


Proverbs 10:9
Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.

Find a heart that will love you at your worst and arms that will hold you at your weakest.

one day, you'll be just a memory to some people.  Do your best to be a good one.


Ephesians 5:1
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.

Make sure your online presence isn't greater than your real life presence.

Acts 17:28
for in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, 'For we also are His children.'

You have so many relationships in this life
Only one or two will last
You go through all the pain and strife
Then you turn your back and they're gone so fast

Proverbs 27:1Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.

“Nothing haunts us like the things we don’t say.”

“The greatest source of happiness is the ability to be grateful at all times.”

when you see something in someone, tell them. It may take a second to say, but for them it could last a life time.



Ephesians 5:2
and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

I release all things from the past year that has caused any negative attachment. I prepare to and welcome new changes, new lessons and new adventures. I welcome new opportunities to grow emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Romans 12:2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

One of the best lessons you can learn in life is to master how to remain calm.


Colossians 3:1
 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

Don't feel guilty for doing what's best for you.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,

Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tip toe if you must, but take the step.

Humbly accept the word God has planted in your heart.

1 Corinthians 3:6-8
I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow. The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work.

I'm not that perfect Christian.....I am one of many that God is still working on.

Not all storms come to disrupt your life. Some come to clear your path.


John 16:33
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

“I would rather stand with God and be judged by the world, than stand with the world and be judged by God.”

Ephesians 6:11
Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

“There’s two types of people in this world. There’s hammer, there’s nail. You decide who you wanna be.”

“The way to happiness; keep your heart free from hate, your mind free from worry, live simply, expect little, give much, scatter sunshine, forget self, and think of others.”

Galatians 6:4-6

4 Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, 5 for each one should carry their own load. Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.

Trust is like love. Both parties have to feel it before it really exists

My salvation and my honor depend on God;

You learn your purpose though relationships

Hebrews 10:24-25

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, But encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

3 John 1:4

Sometimes the best way to appreciate something is to be without it for a while.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17

Everyone always ask if you like school, if you're teachers are cool, if you play sports. like if life was some kind of grocery list, but no one ever asks if we are happy....

“Prayer is primarily for loving and worshiping God. If you would seek first His kingdom and just fellowship with Him, you’d find your needs already provided.”

Be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody.

Romans 15:16
To be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, ministering as a priest the gospel of God, so that my offering of the Gentiles may become acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

Be strong 

but no rude.

but not timid. 

Be proud but 

not arrogant.

Kindness has the power to change the world.

Colossians 3:12

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
