Why don't we just tell the people we love that we love them?
- would it kill us?: No
- would the world stop turning?: no
- would that person shatter up in pieces?: no
- would you get hurt?: maybe
- will the other person be unhappy?: I dont think so
- will the other person love you too?: I guess about 95% of the time that person will, the other 5% will not try to hurt you cause if you really love them they probebly are amazing people and they will be nice to you.

So what are you going to do now you read this quote, my guess is that you will do nothing differently, but if you will tell everybody you love them i think that the world would be a better place.

It's easy to get carried away thinking good works and acts of kindness will make us right with God.  Sometimes we put so much faith in our our own abilities that we lose the need for God.  However, the Bible is very clear we cannot do enough good deeds to enter heaven.  Be comforted in knowing our faith in Jesus will cover us.  Yet, even if we believe, it is still easy to slip into performance based thinking where we must accomplish X,Y, and Z in order for God to love us.

We all get frustrated and lose our drive for perseverance which ultimately affects our race. How is it that we lose our endurance? It's when we take our eyes off of Christ and start focusing on our own circumstances that we begin to slow down. When it comes to running, the key to keeping up endurance is pacing yourself. Let's pace ourselves with Christ.

Do you have a purpose in life? It's important to have a purpose you are working toward otherwise the busyness of life will overcome you. Does your vision honor God first, others second, and then yourself? If you find your self wandering, floating, or even getting by, remember that the Lord has a greater plan for you. Take the time today to seek out your purpose.

What an honor it is to impress Jesus with your faith. But faith means believing in Jesus beyond human reason. Are you keeping your faith separate from your struggles in life? Invite Him in. Rituals and obligation do not amaze Jesus. Instead, it's trusting Jesus with your problems, asking for His help, and believing He will provide.
